Once a part of 9vlt, the Purple Wraiths split off in order to form an infantry based outfit focused on tight-knit group organization and capturing/defending territories. They originate from Jaeger, forming shortly before the merger with Waterson, and have more than doubled in size since. With a balance of casual and serious play, they're ready for whatever the enemy has to throw at them, and they'll have fun doing it! Their play style flows between serious and causal based on necessity, numbers, and day of the week. They have group training sessions weekly to improve teamplay, as well as weekly serious Outfit Operation nights and fun events with other factions. The combination of focused serious play and casual derping allows for members to experience all Planetside 2 has to offer in a multitude of ways.

They're rather small but pack a mean punch, and with future recruits that punch can only get stronger! As a smaller scale outfit members don't become another warm body or a face in the crowd upon joining. Their sense of community and family is strong and the most important priority in this outfit. They try to formulate our squads around what our players do best and what the situation calls for, and put a heavy premium on our support players, and little to no attention to stats or personal ability.

They are also known for having good relationships across factions on the Waterson Server, planning multi-faction flare fights and other shenanigans along the server.
