Boosts increase the amount of resource or experience you gain from activities and are purchased with Station Cash.
There are currently three different boosts:

In the original PlanetSide, soldiers started with 1 implant slot, and could gain two additional slots through rank progression. There were 10 implants to choose from, and many were powered by the soldier's available stamina. They functioned quite differently from the current game, as they provided special personal abilities rather than largely statistical changes in vehicles/weapons (now integrated).
