Free to Play
Free to Play refers to any video game that allows players to play without paying. SOE has announced that PlanetSide 2 will have a free to play component although full details are not yet available. John Smedley is quoted as saying that the team has looked at League of Legends.[1] League of Legends' business model is based on the ability of a player to purchase novelty items and upgrades to character appearances, without needing to pay at all to play online.
