The 404th was founded on December 11, 2012 on the SolTech Server of Planetside 2. The outfit's founder, TheHalo1Pistol, was extremely tired when he made the outfit, hence its very stupid name. When SolTech merged with Mattherson, the outfit only had 450 people, but it has grown to almost 900 members as of May 15, 2013.
