Aptly named, the CARV's rate of fire allows it to cut through whole groups of enemies before needing to be reload.
The CARV has an exceptionally high Rate of Fire at 750RPM. To put that in perspective, the NC6 SAW has a rate of fire of 500RPM. This makes the CARV's time to kill exceptionally short, providing you can hit every shot.
This is the CARV's main downfall; though the CARV has less recoil per shot than the SAW, the recoil over time is higher, because the CARV fires much faster. This limits the CARV to short and medium range tasks. However, this is where the CARV excels over other weapons. Anything that meets you in a CQC environment is essentially dead meat. The only weapons in the T9s starter category that can hope to contend with the raw power of the CARV is the Orion, meaning that, providing that you land every shot and you don't get jumped, the T9 will CARVe (sorry) up everything in it's way.
