Vanguard Shield
Vanguard Shield is a certification for the Vanguard. Once activated, it is able to negate most damage taken from the top, front and sides as well as partially reducing damage taken from the rear. It is commonly used as a method for a safe retreat to make repairs or charging to cover. It looks like a blue electric-like barrier covering the Vanguard. At level 4, the shield has an uptime of 8 seconds and a cooldown of 45 seconds.
The shield has 3000 HP and is affected by the resist values of the underlying armour, meaning that it's strongest at the front and weakest at the rear.
