|Stats||Quantum Dawn Stats|
Quantum Dawn is a North America, English speaking outfit which plays on a North American server in the Vanu Sovereignty Empire.
Quantum Dawn is a proud member of the Vanu Sovereignty. We are a North American, mostly East coast outfit that is looking to provide a home for players for the long term. We are new to Planetside, but not new to FPS gaming. Our core group has been together since 2007, where we started out playing Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, and a billion other shooters like: COD, BF, Tribes, Unreal Tournament and the list goes on. We've since branched out and played everything from MMORPG's to games like Diablo and LOL. To Summarize: if its fun and has multiplayer elements, someone has played it.
 Mission Statement
We are looking for players of all skill levels, play styles and locations to join us. The advantage to joining a small outfit such as ours is you can be in on the ground floor and have your hand in forming the outfit. If you see something you don't like let us know. We'll vote on it, and if enough of the leadership feels the same way we'll get it changed. See something you would like to see implemented? Same thing. Our greatest strength (much like the Vanu empire) is in our adaptability - you're not always going to get that in an old outfit that has been around for a lot of years. That's where small newer outfits like ours are going to shine in the upcoming years. We hope you'll come join us and be a part of that.
We don't believe in BS-ing people, so we're not going to sit here and tell you that we're some super elite force and were gonna compete with the old established outfits, because we're not. The fact is, we just don't have 300 people to field an operation with. That's not to say we can't do a lot with what we have, and we will still be working in conjunction with these larger outfits. At the end of the day, we're all playing the same game and we all had fun, so that's our main goal.
Our main requirements for joining are willingness to work as a team and a good attitude. We hold scheduled operations on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, but there's almost always people on.
They are presented alphabetically. Failure to follow the rules will result in your removal from the outfit.
All members are required to check the forums at least once a week. All members are also required to play with the outfit in game. Activity will be checked both on the forums, and in game. If you have not been active on both the forums in the past two weeks, and in the game in the past month on the first of every month, you will be removed for inactivity. Real life interference is understood, and if you contact leadership about it, you will not be removed. Additionally, if you are removed for inactivity, reapply to the outfit, stating you are a former member to get back in.
It is impossible to organize if you do not do what your squad leader asks of you.
Have a Good Atitude
If you do not mesh well with our outfit, and you are constantly starting altercations with other members, you are not a valuble member of the outfit.
Names must be the same name on the forums, on teamspeak, and in game.
No Hacking, Exploiting, or Teamkilling
Do not do these. They reflect poorly on the entire outfit.
Standard Operating Procedure
All members must observe the chain of command. Insubordination weakens the outfit as a whole, and causes unnecessary stress for the outfit leadership.
Mics are not required to be a member. To hold an officer position, they are required. Officer positions are any rank above Member. Members are required to be on TS3 and in the appropriate channel while in an outfit squad.
