The Vanu Air Force was created by a group of pilots that wished to start an elite special force that focuses mainly on air support and air superiority. Many members are originally from the outfit "Operation-Sparta" Outfit:Operation_SPARTA who chose to migrate to The Vanu Air Force because of their piloting skills and socks that don't match. All Operation-Sparta members are welcome to join TVAF if they wish to do so.
TVAF mainly runs liberator squads where the pilot is very skilled at flying who is matched up with a gunner who actually knows what he's doing (cough cough pubbies who jump out at the first sight of danger). The non-pilots who are usually gunners also provide AA support on the ground in the form of skyguards or burster max's at specific locations in case our air squad needs some extra support from trailing ESFs.
