Talk:Acronyms and Slang
[edit] Layout
I think this should be one-to-many. Some can have several terms, would rather see Mosquito -> Mossy, Mosq, Mozzy than it spread over 3 rows. I think things like Zerg that don't have a synonym but have a page should be listed a little differently as another section rather than duplicating the definition to fit the table. --GRYPHONtc 15:03, 25 June 2012 (CDT)
- The point of the table is for a newbie to see a slang term in-game, then come here to find out what it means. If we did as you suggest, they would have to use a search function to find it on the page, as it wouldn't necessarily be in alphabetical order. That's the only problem I see with that. Having more than one item mapping to the same thing should be ok. If the list gets too long, it can be separated into alphabetical groupings, etc. I don't see a problem with items that have pages like Zerg. Although, I'm starting to question whether the Zerg page even needs to exist with this page active now. Only really common/important slang terms should have their own page. I switched around Anti-vehicle and Anti-infantry since these are the main terms people are referring to. Anti-transport and anti-personal are less used and I don't want to confuse the newbies. --OutlawDr 17:13, 6 July 2012 (CDT)
I think Sundy and Sundae (and maybe even Thunderer) should be added for the Sunderer. --SuperDudeBT 14:35, 24 December 2012 (EST)

Often people seem to use "Bacon is crispy" to mean the spawn beacon is deployed, not that it has been destroyed.
