The Mechanized Assault Exo-Suit (MAX) is the class with the heaviest armor and weaponry, at the cost of reduced versatility and mobility. Capable of equipping one modular weapon on each arm, MAX units bring unrivaled firepower. Unlike the original PlanetSide MAX, in PlanetSide 2 the MAXes have modular weapons. There is only one type of MAX per empire. Different types of weapons can be changed out on each arm, making a highly customizable fighting unit. The class special ability is Charge, which allows the MAX to cover short distances quickly. You can not directly spawn as a MAX, the MAX armor can only be obtained via an equipment terminal.
